Gee Whiz Music

Welcome to Gee Whiz Music!

First of all, Gee Whiz is the name I use when I'm out playing music by myself. I also play with a group known as Storm Krow, and occasionally I'll host a karaoke night under the name Gary-oke. Any other combination of musicians may be known by other names, and in some cases the names are withheld to protect the innocent.

In most cases, the music is classic variety. Great classic rock, oldies, like the 50's and 60's with a solid mixture of 70's and 80's hits and some current stuff, too. Throw it all in with some good ol' country music and you get a night of music that is sure to please.

Check out the mp3's on this site for some samples of what you'll hear when you come to a show, although the show itself has changed over the years. Some of you may remember the floor show, the dancing girls, the trained animal acts, the pyrotechnics, and the comedians.

Time has taken it's toll and I no longer do a floor show. (Unless you count the times I've passed out in the floor.) The dancing girls have gotten old and believe me, you don't want to see them dance anymore. I had to stop the animal acts. Partly because of a joint action by PETA and the SPCA, but mostly because it was taking longer to recover from the bites.

The flash pots and the wall of fire had to go, also. The insurance was enough to rebuild the bar, but the fire chief's wife didn't fare so well on the life insurance. (I miss ya, Sparky!) And lastly, as I'm sure you can tell� there is no comedy. But hey� come out and see me anyway!
